Actually getting all of your paper work, applications, etc... completed and turned into the right people was a pain in the ass! I had the absolute most difficult time getting everything in order for me to attend classes on the first day, and I started well in advanced (about 6 months)! And calling the school to ask questions and get help is an extremely daunting task. The odds of speaking to someone that actually has an answer to your questions and knows what they're talking about is slim to none, and speaking to someone that isn't completely rude to you, is damn near impossible. The entire staff USF hires (everyone that works for USF, other than the actual teachers) are the most miserable, rudest group of people I've ever come across. What ever happened to southern hospitality? So basically getting in is simple, but if you can actually apply here and make it to the first day of classes, then you're in good shape!! USF basically accepts anyone. The academics at usf are ok at best. I have come across many professors that dont know what their talking about. In fact, I would bet that I know more about the particular course then they do. Computer Engineering
| Sep 02 2006 | I had decent SAT scores (1150), but think I would have got in with lower ones as well. |
