Essay (0) | Aerospace Engineering | Apr 27 2005 | Apply Early.Obtain one or more congressional or presidential nominations. Be skilled in time management. Know Calculus I. History/Histories (art history/etc.) | Dec 28 2004 | PLAY A VARSITY SPORT. Being the chunky JROTC dork in high school will not help, and you'll only be a monumental dork when you do arrive. Your Congressman.... start talking to his office now. Keep the grades up... it is not an easy school to get admitted to, especially if you are out of high school. Treat it like an Ivy league school, academically. Drink beer, party and carouse during your senior year in high school... I can assure you that you will not be able to your Freshman year at USNA. Just don't get caught! If you are a straight-A varsity athlete, you are a classic candidate and an easy shoo-in. If you're not, like I was, you'll have to jump through some hoops . . . if you have a true desire, someone will see that and you'll get in eventually. Aerospace Engineering
