Naval Engineering | May 15 2003 | I went to a year of prep school to get in. I lived in an area where five or six kids a year get in from each high school in the area, so competition is stiff. To get in, obviously study, but get involved in your school and be the top dog at what you do. Do not be a member of the student association, be an officer in it. To get in to the Naval Academy, you need the usual: good grades, good test scores, ECAs and leadership roles, volunteer work, sports. Once you get here, you need a good attitude and perspective!
