To get in to UTA try your best on the ACT & SAT, do good in HS, its average to get into but, don't just blow through HS and expect to get in.
Business - Management and Administration
I was older than 25, it was easy to get in with decent grades and some previous college.

Getting in to UTA is pretty straight forward if you have good SAT/ACT scores and at least in the top 35%

if you feel the need to go to UTA there are two ways to get in.. one is the front door the other way is the "back door" route..the front door method is you apply here directly from HS and you see if there selective process picks you out from the masses...my route was through Tarrent County College aka "the back door" as per the degree i wanted there is a significant portion of it that is state required nonsense..so i took the state junk there and then "transfered" into UTA, as UTA and TCC are "good pals", uta loves to pull transfers from TCC as they have a higher rate of success at uta...granted you still have to do well at TCC but you up the odds significantly...

UTA is VERY easy to get in to. As I recall if you were in the top 25% of your class you got in automatically.
Even if you didn't meet the criteria you can still get in, there are several ed programs put in place so that almost anyone can attend (which is quite annoying sometimes). At first I applied to UT (in Austin) and they referred me to the CAP program, which basically means you take your first year at (almost) any other school in the UT system and you'll have a reserved spot at UT the next year.
