For high school students, especially for out of states, be prepared to pay an enormous amount of money. It's expensive living here, especially on campus. Tuition is expensive too.
For high school students coming for a campus tour, don't do it. The tour is a waste of time. It's hardly helpful, since they don't give you the tour guide you want or someone who is majoring what you want to. The tour is a walking tour. So you will grow tired really fast.
Getting into the U is not tough at all. The tough part is being caught up with everything. The course work at the U is very rigorous. Do not plan on working a whole lot specially during your senior/junior year. Scholarships are available but people don't get it because they don't look for it. The alumni center gives a huge amount of scholarships every year so make sure you check that out. Good Luck! :)
