It was easy, just apply with decent grades and extra-curricular activities. Most people who apply get in.

The U will accept anyone who can read or write; it's seen as a safety school If you had mediocre scores in high school but express intellectual passion, strong character or desirable traits, as well as talent you'll be admitted, most likely under academic probation. (This means that you will be sponsored by a student resource outlet on campus that will help you ((given your meeting half way effort)) to get at least decent grades.)

For med students, apply for the Freshmen LEAP program with the pre-med emphasis. For Business majors, you just declare a major, as for an other major. For Actor's Training Program or dance department hopefuls, you'll need to audition but as long as you don't suck and have experience that demonstrates your obvious passion, you'll get in too.

The U's not special, look elsewhere. But if you must apply, don't worry about not getting in.

It's pretty easy to get into the U. Pretty much you just have to have average grades and average test scores. That being said, there are a lot of really smart kids going to the U and the curriculum can be very rigorous especially in the upper division classes. Easy to get into but you have to work to stay there.
