I basically just stayed ahead and on task on my class work during high school. I got a 25 on my ACT. I applied and was accepted right away. One of my friends was put on the wait list but did later get accepted. If you are put on the wait list hang in there since most people that apply to Madison also apply to UW-L as a back up. So once they get accepted to Madison they decline at UW-L opening up space.
There is an audition process to get into the Music Theater program, but it isn't too bad. It is a 1 minute monologue, 2 songs, and a dance portion. It sounds like a lot, but it's not bad, I promise.
I took the ACT and applied. I initially had a 21 on my ACT which put me on the wait list. I took the ACT again and received a 24. I heard back from UW- La Crosse instantly that I had been accepted.
