i had OK HS gpa and OK ACT...i really don't know what else, try to write some mind-blowing app essay about some huge horrible thing in your life that u managed to overcome...UW is a sucker for stuff like that
The basics for most Big 10 schools...have a good GPA, good test scores, tons of activities, write a good essay. I don't know...I'm not on the admissions board....
I worked my butt off in high school. They look at the personal essay in the application too. I live in-state so that helped. Good grades, lots of extra-ciriculars in high school. Apply early. Good luck! Fully recommend Madison!
