Didn't do too much to get in, had a 3.1 GPA in high school and a decent ACT score, that's about it.

Get good grades in High school, and score well on your ACT/SAT exams. The school is not very exclusive, but may become so in the future as attendance goes up. Solid grades and scores will get you in easily.
