The college program is pretty good. But I hate all the services at volstate. I went through admission office, advising office and financial aid office. All of them is not effective, especially if you are really need their helps. They response slow especially if you contact them by email. Be sure they never answer. I used to send out emails for these office before the semester start, until now (when we are ready for fall break) I still do not receive any answers instead of some junk mails.
Admission office, they never give you extra info. For example, you are missing 3 documents paper. You only know you miss one document, you come and ask them if you are missing the document that you know, they say yes and never tell you that you are still missing the other two until you find out.
Advisors at advising office is not knowledgeable. I even tell them how to choose and register for class.
There are also many disadvantage in financial aid office.
I used to attend difference colleges before but these problems are never happen. The only reason I choose this school because it's very convenience to me. I would not recommend this school for anybody unless they have no choice

Apply early, and visit an advisor to learn what you need to do. Get your transcripts, immunization and SAT scores in as soon as possible. When you are assigned an Advisor make sure you actually meet with that person regularly to gauge your progress. Don't take more than 1 science class per semester if you do your grades will suffer.
