Despite the reputation that the school preaches, it was surprisingly easy to get into vwc. The school usually accepts a lot of students (sometimes too many), but most students decide not to attend. Since the school is so small, if the school runs out of dorm rooms for the new freshman class, students are forced to stay at a hotel for the duration of the semester and commute to school.

The application process is pretty simple. They have a high acceptance rate, especially to minorities since it's trying to achieve new status and become more competitive with other schools. If you don't live in Virginia think twice about coming here because once you are on campus you are stuck without a car or transportation.
