If you're interested in applying, make sure Admissions knows who you are: visit, get an interview, talk to counselors. They love students who are genuinely interested in Wash U. You should not only be smart, but also very well rounded and involved in other things than just academics.

I had good SAT scores and pretty good grades and tried to do some charity work in high school. I also was an artist and so had a pretty major extracurricular activity.
