I took the ACT and SAT tests, and scored well on both. (I took the tests in 2004, and since then, the scoring standards have changed. That is why I didn't submit my scores to this review). I wrote an essay explaining why I wanted to study English and Religion. I also wrote essays for a variety of scholarships (which, endowed scholarships are plentiful at Wayland, very easy to get!) Contact the financial aid office and ask about scholarships and grants. They are excellent at locating money for you. They really do go out of their way to find money for students.
