Have good recommendations. A solid 3.0 and and an average ACT of 25 will get most students into the college.

It's not too hard to get in here at Wofford as long as you have taken high school seriously. For instance, I took honors/AP classes, was involved in a multitude of organizations, and was senior class president. I made good grades, and I was also involved in the community doing volunteer work. That said, with a combination of Wofford, state, and federal scholarships, I received a full ride. Although a close-to-$40k price tag is high, there's plenty of money here to help you out.

It is important to maintain a high GPA and class rank, but extracurriculars and volunteer work are equally important.

People at Wofford think it's Harvard, but that isn't even close to the case. If you get an 1100 on your SAT and were involved in high school, you'll be fine!
