Not difficult to get in, but make sure you'reMay 19 2016Mechanical Engineering
Not difficult to get in, but make sure you're ready to work hard when you get here. Pretty much get a decent GPA (over a 2.7-ish) and a decent SAT (do well on the math portion) and you should be set. I would visit the school to be sure that you like the area and campus for yourself.

WIT was not a reach for me but I would strongly recommend taking a rigorous course schedule during your junior and senior years to help you get in. Of course, a strong GPA and test score combination won't hurt as far as scholarships go!

This is what WIT does:
They have a lot lower admission standards than other institutions of similar quality. They do this because rely on weeding out "bad" students. If a high GPA isn't your goal, you're going to get kicked out.
