For me, the interview process was key because I had done poorly in one of my high school classes. However, I think that I would have been admitted anyway, seeing as the college admits about 75% of its applicants. Write a decent essay and don't completely screw up your SATs or grades, and you should be fine. Obviously, schools get more competitive each year, but it is not too far of a reach to get into McDaniel. Write a great essay, have a good GPA (3.3-3.8), submit your test scores even if they're good and show EC involvement. It's fairly easy to get in. If your scores are high enough, you don't even need to write an essay. Have good grades, decent scores and write a good essay anyway just to be safe. Show involvement outside of class. The usual. |
