Western Michigan University - How to Get into Undergraduate WMU
</a>
Getting accepted to the school was easy. All I did was fill out an application and submitted my ACT score. If you want to get in, don't sweat it too much, they will basically accept anyone.
I honestly didn't have to do anything special. I did take AP classes in high school, scored a decent score on the ACT. I was in the National Honors society also. However, i know plenty of people who didn't do any of this and still got in. Pretty much make sure you have above a 3.0 in high school. If you're transferring it helps to also have a 3.0 or above, although i'm sure you could get in with a bit lower GPA.
It is very easy to get in. 2.0 high school gpa and ACT over 18. You can even get in with a GED score of 510 or high if something prevented you from graduating from high school
I didn't have the best ACT scores but I had a great high school GPA. But every single application that comes into the University is different for a reason and the admission decisions follow this idea. Of course every University wants straight A, several volunteering hours and an ACT score of 32 or whatever the max is. That's not reality and the University is in this community to educate even those students with less than average grades.
