Average grades and average SAT's can get you into Whittier College. Having extra-corricular activities such as sports would help immensely for admission.

If you can't get in with your grades or test scores that you have now, i suggest 1-2 years at a community college then transfer, whittier is a small school but a good number of our students are transfers.

Write a meanginful essay or personal statement. Like any college, Whittier does care about grades and SAT scores...BUT, everyone knows that Whittier isn't as hard to get into as a lot of other schools. Do what's required on the app--from my experience, nothing 'extra' is necessary.
