| | To get into the university, all you had to do was send in your transcript and ACT score. The main reason I decided to choose this university was because of the scholarships that they offered me. I received $11,000 per year with a grant/aid of $4,000 per year. Overall, it cost me only $13,000 to go here at the start, but because of inflation, I have had to pay roughly $1,000-$1,500 more per year. Because of my high GPA and fairly good ACT/SAT, I wish I would have gone to a university that would have suited me better. Concordia University Wisconsin seems like a Junior College to me because of the school size and the hardness of classes. I would never recommend Kaplan to anyone wanting an online education- it is a waste of your money. it's not hard. they want your $$$,$$$ As long as you are a C student, they will welcome you with open arms. However, they will help you accelerate in academics. I basically worked VERY hard, more hard than most "scholar" students in high school to get into UMBC. However, graduating top 10% is not good enough to be a part of the UMBC scholars program. I would not recommend UMBC to anyone because you can get your money's worth elsewhere.
