Getting in is very easy. Their acceptance rate is high, there isn't an essay, and their average SAT scores are low.  Computer Science

Getting in is fairly easy, I had an average around 89% (3.5) in Highschool. You don't have to be too smart to get in. So long as you have a B average and do half decent on your SATs (like 500 in each section) and you'll probably be able to get in. nothing at all, i filled out the application in ten minutes You need to maintain decent grades throughout high school. You don't need to kill yourself, but you do need to have at least a B average. You either need the grades, or the SAT scores -- it's one or the other. Furthermore, I feel as though York is more likely to accept students who show a true purpose for wanting to go to college and some determination. They accept students who have a direction, and students who know why they want to attend college. If you're a C student with low SAT scores, well... either pick up your grades, or prove in your application why York should accept you. |
