I did my best in high school, and applied earlyApr 17 2009Other
I did my best in high school, and applied early. I maintained a high GPA and did decent on the SAT and ACT. I was involved in numerous extracurricular activities and leadership postitions as well. Also, apply for housing before you even apply to the school (no later than that June before).

If you come to BYU, do not follow onlyAug 27 2008Mechanical Engineering
If you come to BYU, do not follow only what is told. Do more stuff. Keep doing more. If your GPA is 3.8 but with lots of other extracurricular stuff then great. If it is 4.0 wiht none, then you are in a problem.

To get in, do your SAT etc. Getting in is not a big problem. The school is easy on admissions. Gets hard a little bit on coursework. So do your SAT. I'd say do SAT II's also. ACT is not the best way to go all the time. I have no real recommendation on getting in. Its not like you are trying to get into UPenn or something.

Good grades and high test scores but you canFeb 22 2008Business - Management and Administration
Good grades and high test scores but you can get in easier if you go to UVSC and then transfer. Doesn't require high grades in high school just at UVSC which is easier than high school. Not being mean but five of my roommates transferred from UVSC and they said it was easier than high school. This was a big adjustment for them though because UVSC is just not on the same playing field as BYU. Just being honest.
ACT: 32 Male
