Pay the application fee and fill out the application. If you're SAT I scores are at least a 700, you can get in with out much fuss.
English
Have your stuff in order, don't make the staff hunt for your crucial information. Come prepared point blank and simple.

I liev close by and thought I'd save money by starting out at a community college. It was mistake. I'd recommend other students to try to go directly to a 4 year school with more qualified instructors.
Nursing
Hassle with empathetic admissions counselors and uninformed advisors.
PreMed and Medical
Submitted an application. The admissions process is rolling, but in order to make sure the staff have everything in the system correct you must berate them.

It's very easy to get into - anyone can go to this school.

Applying online was fast and easy and only costs $20...however, expect a long waiting period to hear anything back from the school. They are not good about telling you what is missing (transcripts) or give you any notice about the entrance test. My biggest beef with this school is that you have to take the Compass test, and you can't re-take it. So if you go home and study harder on what were your weak areas, forget it, your score is locked in for 3 years and you can't re-take it so you are FORCED into remedial classes if you don't ace that thing the first time. And, the test itself only has about 15 questions and within that they have 5 levels of remedial math so you better study. I would gladly give you a student email address but I don't even think I have one.
Political Science
Any Dick and Jane can get in, thus you'll have many retarded or disrespectful classmates. They hold the same standards when hiring faculty and staff. I recommend you attend another school!
Engineering Department
If you have a H.S. diploma, GED, SAT scores, a pulse, and 20 bucks for your application, you'll more than likely be accepted.
Astronomy
