Filled out the main application EARLY, way before March 1st.

Take two years of Spanish and a year of calculus in high school, it will save you tons of money and tears.

Advisor sucked to the point where she even put me in the wrong major and in a random minor.

I think you just need to be basically in the average range to be accepted.

Do well on your SAT or ACT. The application process is not too long or scary.

It is not hard to get into OU. While I have a pretty good ACT score of 29, others get in with 6-7 points lower than that. The school is accommodating for those people.

My advice: don't take things to seriously. You can let the superreligo's and the ultraconserv's get to you- or you can accept that they have the right to their own opinion, and laugh under your breath when you hear their speeches on the oval.

To get in...answer questions randomly on your ACT (Please don't actually do that). fill out a form. pay some money. If that doesn't work, suck up a bit and call yourself a 'future Sooner'. Have fun.
