I have visited 5 of the eleven bigQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
I have visited 5 of the eleven big ten schools including: UofI-Champagne, UW-Madison, Purdue, and IU-Bloomington. Iowa was easily the perfect fit. Champagne is too big and spread out (they also only have 3 or 4 popular bars), if you like a big city go to madison (too crazy for most students), and as for Purdue and Indiana, they both have a beautiful campus but definitely not as fun as Iowa. Go tailgating for a day and you'll have see the tradition Iowa has. They havent lost at home in 2 years. 53 bars in Iowa City is a nice commodity.

In choosing an undergraduate school, focus not soQuite BrightPreLaw and Legal
In choosing an undergraduate school, focus not so much on a career as on becoming an educated, well-formed human being. Look for a solid liberal arts program with a coherent, integrated core curriculum. You will never have a better chance to become a mature person of depth and character than you will have in such a college. If you can achieve this, you can go on to achieve anything, in any career or profession. I do not believe that the world needs more well-trained technicians. The world needs more educated--truly educated--persons.

The University of Iowa is the smallest of the Big Ten schools.. but there's so much to get involved in and so many friendly people around, that it makes the school so much smaller. the campus is beautiful, and the bar scene is the best in the Big Ten :-)
