I've only been here for 5 months, yet already it's home and I've a huge number of friends—I had thought it'd take a while for close friendships to develop, but with a campus this small getting to know people is easy.

There are all sorts of extracurriculars for all types of people, and nobody is stigmatized for any preferences.

I used to dislike the small town of Hanover, but then realized that were we situated in the middle of a big city the atmosphere would be worse (plus, it would be hard to get all one's work done). The town is such a college town that you can find a lot of interest there anyways—the main bookstore has a huge travel, maps, foreign language, philosophy, religion, cultural, and coles notes section, for example.
