Before enrolling in UMD's ECE deaprtment, remember

1) Social life is a no-no here

2) Survival of the fittest. Oh! How true Darwin is!!

3) Natural Selelction holds here. Less than 1/3 of the student will stay with teh major. More poular majors include CS, Math ( easier than ECE mostly)

4) Too many courses to take.

5) Remember thou shall not cry or eat or sleep until thou is donw ith thou's work

Its a beautiful campus. But ECE is extememly competitve. Work hard and you will be rewarded with satisfaction.
