They assign projects and reports to get you interested in your major right away. There are a lot of opportunities for doing research with the professors on campus. It's very easy to get involved with the wide variety of extracurricular activities here on campus. The dorms and some of the classrooms are in pretty rough shape, but they are working hard to try and fix them up and bring them up to better standing.
