The chemistry department was very strong, offering a wide range of research and internship experience. Almost all classes I took university-wide were taught by faculty, not graduate students. I was a member of the honors society; being so opened doors to classes not offered to the general student body. The social scene is just right for college too. ISU doesn't baby students by leading them around on a leash and solving all their problems for them; it offers you the chance to become and adult. Anyone looking for a school large enough to offer many opportunities yet not too overwhelming in size should look at ISU. |
