I expected alot more work and that really wasn't the case as the year progressed. Some courses were more work than others, but that always comes down to the course/prof. Course size is pretty small, I've had as low as 8 in a class. Profs are friendly and readily availible with given office hours and more. Student body is also very friendly. In fact, the maturity of the students seems to be a giant leap from that of the people I went to HS with. But since I commute, I don't get to see them cut loose in the dorms… A+ for safety, even though the immediate surronding neighborhood isn't so good. There's a team of public safety policemen around all the time, you can't miss them. And the school is buying up all the property around it. Definitely moving ahead and trying to develop the school even further. Just bought the blue cross/shield building and parking ramp, too bad I'll be gone before thats ready. Parking is decent, can always find a spot if you're willing to walk a block or so. Or you could try your luck parking on the nearby streets. |
