It has been my experience that college is what you make of it- Regis is an all women's college, so of course you have to be willing to work a little harder to make your own social life, but it is possible! I made the most wonderful friends, amazing women go to Regis. I was not academically challenged or inspired until my Junior year, but once I found my niche with teachers and subjects, I loved it. The new president is making quite a few changes in regards to the budget, I think some of them are for the better and some of them much worse. During my Senior year two of my best professors were let go because of budget concerns while they kept teachers who were completely useless… I do not suggest going into Communications at Regis because the department, although kind, is sort of out to lunch. That is the general feeling among Communications graduates. In any case, although I don't think Regis is perfect and I did think about transferring- many many times-I have a positive overall experience at Regis and am encouraging my younger sister to attend. I can't say enough good about some of the professors and the atmosphere as a women's college.
