Vassar is a liberal school with a great range of majors, activities, and students. Most of the students are very friendly and everyone is quite unique (it's not a school full of drones). The faculty is very supportive academically, emotionally (usually), and otherwise. Many professors are more than happy to find time to help a student in need. As a science student at Vassar my classes are relatively small (especially after the entry level courses) and the one-on-one with the professors is great. There are opportunities to research with faculty as early as your freshman year. |
