My college experiences at AIU were very positive with the faculty. The professors in the IT department are the best. They are helpful and approachable. There was only one professor who did not know what he was doing and that was a Financial Analysis class. I think he should go back to school and learn how to teach the concepts. During the two years I attended AIU, the only problems that I confronted were with the Financial Aid department. They seemed to care but did not follow through on their end and need to be coached by the students. It took me about 7 months for them to finally clear up my account and have my papers in order. This was after 7 months of following them around. So, if you are thinking of attending AIU do so, but please keep you attention focused on the Financial Aid department, because you may have problems graduating if you don't follow up and make sure you get clearance after every quarter. Other wise go for it!!! It was fun, student life is what you make of it. After all, it is a small school, each person makes a good network of friends. And if you are interested in getting a great education for very good professors who do care then go to AIU.The faculty of the IT department are the best. |
