While my overall experience at the college was not bad I always felt that there was an underlying motivation of greed from the administration. I never did figure out why I was still expected to do workstudy even though I suppoedly had a full paid athletic scholorship. I know they say that it allows someone else to go for free but that was all because those people get ton's of financial aid. On the other hand the experience gained during work study taught me some valuable lessons and greatly prepared me to enter the workforce. The fact that there isn't much to do there is irrelevant because you are there to get an education not to party. No doubt it is a tough place but if you can make it there you can make it anywhere. |
