It is NOT by any means a place where you kick back and let the good times roll. You have to work hard in both school and Corps life. Living in the Corps of Cadets is Difficult on good days, and aggrivating/frustrating on normal ones. You're constantly under supervision from your peers who are in leadership roles above you. It's Very stressful. On the other hand, I have friends who will be there no matter what the rest of my life, I have an alumni network which is spectacular and I learned more about life in 6 years of attending that school that most people learn in entire life time. On top of that, I have found that I'm better qualified for many things than some of the "adults" that now work with, and my abilities in other leadership aspects are so far above my current peers it's not even funny. |
