I earned two B.S. degrees from LeTourneau University. They are in Mechanical Engineering Technology and Welding Engineering Technology. This educational background directly prepared me for my career in the manufacture and repair of turbine vanes and blades for jet engines. LeTourneau is not your average university. It goes well beyond the standards of our public university system. The expectations for the LeTourneau student are much higher and you have to work much harder for the same GPA than you would in a public university. It takes an above average type of person to enroll there and an even more special type of person to graduate. You not only sign up for a more demanding academic regime, but also for a more demanding lifestyle. You will find neither slackers nor those who put their social wants above their academic and spirtual needs.
