First off, I'd say that PCT's strongest assets are the campus and the people. All the facilities are in top-notch condition; they have the look of an upper-class setting. Most of the students I interacted with I genuinely liked. Not much cliquishness at all. Typically, the business majors typically hung out with each other. CompSci majors were the same. I believe the absence of frats/sororities and 80% of the students being commuters are the reasons for such minimal cliquishness. As for the women, given that the men outnumber them 2 to 1, some of the hotter women had an attitude about them.

It's tough to evaluate the PCT's business program to other universities based on word-of-mouth, but I thought PCT's left a lot to be desired. Busywork, busywork, and more busywork. The Capstone course was a total FARCE that consisted mostly of busywork. I didn't feel as if I learned a lot from my professors, whom looked as if they were going through the motions. Enroll in as many of Dr. Siegel's classes as possible. He engages the class in excellent discussions and maintains the attention of the class.

As for social life, there isn't any. There's a movie theatre in town, a mall ten miles down the road, drinking/party establishments like the BULLFROG and Club America, and the LLWS in August. That's it. If you want to attend college to party, this isn't the place.

In summation, while I made good friends here, I would've gone elsewhere. This is definitely a good place to go if you're interested in one of the blue-collar majors, but if your interest is in business or accounting, I'd bypass PCT.
