I now stay home with 3 children, but always valued my degree when in the work force. I never worked in the DFW metroplex area or even in the state of TX, yet even in the midwest, the TCU name evoked a positive response. The staff was warm and supportive. The size was to me, just perfect. I never joined a sorority and never had a shortage of dates or friends. It was a tough adjustment at first, being 1,000 miles from home, but was a wonderful enviornment. I had some very tramatic things happen while their, but got good counseling and was able to work with campus police to make a few adjustments for campus-wide safety.

Try to maintain perpspective when evaluating this or any other comments regarding TCU or any other school. It is a tough decision, but worth the effort of research.
