And this is very true, but you can find all types of people here. The rich snotty ones just stand out more. Everyone here can be friendly if you just reach out. There are alot of cliques though, mostly among greeks.The social life is awesome. I found it hard to balance social stuff with studying. With all the distractions of Dallas, not to mention frat parties, InterMurals and other clubs, you can be busy every night with stuff to do if you so chose. As the academics go, SMU has an excellent reputation.I was very impressed by some of my profs, then others i didnt like as much(not very helpful, un friendly). All in all i like it here, you just have to find your place, and you will like it here too. |
