I can say many positive things about it, including the fact that the school has a very friendly environment- almost anyone will say hello to you on your walk to class. You also get to know a lot of people because of the school's size, and if you don't know people by name you almost always know their face. If traveling is your thing, Arcadia offers and excellent study abroad program which I plan on taking advantage of. The faculty is also very helpful- I have even gotten some home phone numbers from professors and all have office hours. The campus is beautiful and close to Philadelphia. As far as the complaint of "there is nothing to do here"- I think that there are some people that aren't willing to go the extra mile and seek out a good time. A party just isn't going to march to your door and invite itself in- you have to go out and find it. Parties go on and fun isn't really hard to find, you just have to apply yourself. College is as fun as you make it! I found plenty of things to do this semester- I met Mr. Belding from Saved By The Bell, went to a dance with cast members from the Real World, and met a lot of cool and interesting people in the process. I plan on staying and thoroughly enjoying my next two years here and I would suggest to anyone to come and take a tour here. |
