If you know exactly what you want to do as a career and have a direct plan for how to accomplish this goal, then find the college or university that will provide the best education possible in that field. However, if you are unsure of your career goals, you would most likely be best served at a small, private liberal arts college or university, such as Ripon College, where you will have the chance to explore a variety of fields and have direct, one-on-one contact with your professors and mentors. You will have a better chance of finding yourself, to be exposed to a number of disciplines, and not have to worry about getting into the classes you would like to enroll.
