Student enrollement and faculty hiring has increased with positive results but the school still lacks in several areas. the school is surrounded by a close minded city rooted in the deep south and historically racial roots. my first year of college was at Auburn until tuition became a problem. i hated CSU for my first year but have changed my attitude do to the new faculty hires. The school has become a launcing pad for recent PHD profs. from schools such as wake forest, GaTech, UK, UGA, AU, Ohio University to begin their careers as teachers. Most of the profs. in the school of Business are in their mid to late 30's. As far as academic competition, you won't find any. baseball players are kings on the campus, social life intermingles with high school and locals who live within the city. And as far as helping students with internships and career opportunities, you'd better be very self motivated and hard working with a plan to attend a better school or your SOL. Peace |
