I got married after my 2nd year of college and moved to Atlanta. I LOVED MUW. The faculty is great; the students are all very friendly. They have lots of campus groups to get involved in. MUW doesn't really have sororities; they have "social clubs” These are very similar to sororities. People rush, pledge, etc. The whole process is really amusing. While I personally wasn't in a social club, I never had any problem with the people who WERE in social clubs. The only thing is that the Mississippi School of Math & Science is on campus. This is a school for high school students who excel in math & science (obviously) While the MSMS kids were bothersome at times, the university did a good job of keeping them out of the college students way.If you are looking for a fast paced campus, this isn't the school for you. If you are looking for a school full of tradition and values… this is the place to be. |
