I loved my time at TSU. No where can you find faculty who know you by name a year after you take their class. Most of the time you could just walk up to a professor and start up a conversation about anything. I too came here with the intent of leaving for A&M, but as the previous rater stated, the school grew on me. I enjoyed seeing people I recognized off campus at the store, or even on my walk from class to class. You don't get that at the bigger institutions. Given the chance to attend school over I would only choose a different school due to my desire to pursue academic excellence. Not degrading TSU in any means, but if I could go to ANY school it would probably be Harvard or Yale, but alas I am not in the upper class so TSU was for me and am I ever glad it was. If you want to be involved and know everyone you can, if you want to attend TSu and have no one ever notice you - you can do that too. Great school, great people, and pick up truck required. =) |
