There's nothing out here but college, but when you're a college student, what else do you want? Pullman will feel like paradise sometimes because of the solidarity among students living in a completely student-dominated environment, and it will feel like hell sometimes because it can be like living on the end of the earth. If you can find no peace here in 4 years, you are a whiner and you aren't trying. But if you can find a groove, you'll have a blast, some of the time at least. For freshman, the harder you try in the beginning to meet good people the more it will pay off in 4 years time. Undergraduate education is both good and personable in most majors. This place takes on a legendary mysticism at times. Give in to the power of Pullman. You got to break an egg to make an omelete and there are lots of eggs here. Bash some heads. |
