Now that I'm at a large research university, I realize how much a person can benefit from a small liberal arts college, a place where you cannot and will not "fall through the cracks." I would not be able to excel as a woman in mathematics, a field traditionally dominated by men, were it not for the nurturing learning environment at Converse. |
