Of course everyone hates Maritime while you are there. Heck! I hated the place too when I was a cadet. No school will ever match the quality of education and professional experiences. I dont know anywhere else where they let a 18-22 yr old incharge of a 600ft ship and let you navigate your way to a foriegn port. Hell!!,I couldnt believe when i was doing it as my first job and getting paid really well too. Yes, you my go through alot of BS (everyone does) but you learn to love the place after time, I find myself always stopping by the Fort when Im in the nyc area. Ive made alot of friends at this instition, fellow cadets and teachers, and instructors all of which are life long friends. There is a unique bond we all share, not only with alumni but even those who have decided to leave. Yes, the school isnt for everyone! That in which, where else offers a degree, license, and a comission? and on top of that 100% job placement. I have no regrets in going and graduation from maritime, I feel it was one of my best decisions in my life!

I encourage others to follow. loyalty & Valor
