If you attend school and leave your room, it is impossible to find yourself bored. While the course work and academia side of things have been rewarding and challenging (I spent time in both Copenhagen and London pursuing projects that I found very meaningful), I have found the most rewarding part of my college experience to be the relationships I've formed with other students. Students at WPI typically have a lot in common—we are all intelligent, largely scientifically minded people who tend to enjoy similar things. We have an active greek system which defies stereotypes daily through their interaction with and service to the school and the community. There are a wealth of student organizations ranging from the Social Committee, in charge of putting on great activities to comedy groups, to a ballroom dance club. |
