Statistical Analyzer:

The projects program at WPI is probably the best part of the academic portion of WPI. Through the projects program, I've gotten to get invaluable experience and make very strong contacts with people high up where I will be starting vet school next year. I do not know much about the engineering disciplines, but the upper level biology classes help to make students employable by educating extensively about current research being performed in the field. I've felt that WPI has prepared me well academically, although one must be willing to put in time to get that out of WPI. Socially, there is plenty to do in Worcester and at WPI through clubs, fraternities, other colleges, etc. However, a student must actively seek things to do. WPI is not really the type of university where people will get things to do handed to them. If you dont make an effort to get to know people and get involved, odds are you wont. But if you want to keep busy and meet different types of people, it can be easily done through being social, joining clubs, and in general having an open mind towards new experiences. All in all, WPI is a pretty good place to be.
