The kids there are good at school work but bad with people, for the most part. It is very Baptist but not preachy or strict, although there are lots of visitation rules, etc. If you want to party you really should go somewhere else. If you want to earn a degree that will get you any job or into any graduate school in the dirty south, then go to Samford. WARNING: Greek life (sororities because there are alot more girls that guys here) is a huge and annoying force to deal with. I was not greek but I did enjoy the sorority chicks. GUYS: The girls here are the most beautiful ones that you will find anywhere and I've been to Miami, LA and everywhere else. They are hot, but the are careful and really shallow as well. If you are not from the south or a Baptist home, get ready for a huge culture shock. After you manage that it can be a fun place. I could not be any prouder of the fact that I graduated from Samford because I earned it on many levels. I recommend this school to anyone who does not want to party but is serious about the future. Have fun. |
