Espescially after touring other schools while still enrolled at CMU. When I completed my undergraduate degree in 2001 I was both relieved and unsatisfied. I was happy that I didn't have take another course at CMU…but unhappy that I earned a diploma with Central Michigan Universityon it. I was an average high school student that made the Dean's List at CMU on many occasions. This is not a challenging school by any means. Here's something every CMU student should do: go to the University of Michigan and tour the campus and sample the nightlife. Then ask yourself…couldn't I'vedone better in High School? Don't I deserve a better education? I have made 5-6 lifelong friends from CMU…3 of them are still unemployed after graduating3 years ago, the other two are attending graduate school at another University. My advise to any incoming freshmen: please search dilligently for the right school. Look for schools in other states that interest you. Most of us get only one shot at receiving higher education. |
